READ AND SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
Before beginning installation, please thoroughly read and become familiar with these instructions. Installation and service must be completed by a qualified installer. Failure to properly install this product may void the warranty.
Installer: Please leave these installation instructions with the owner. Owner: Please keep these installation instructions for local electrical inspector’s use and for future reference.
WARNINGS: Must be followed carefully to avoid personal injury.

Note: The AF7M ventilator is equipped with two housing hangers which have a span of 22". The slotted holes permit adjustments for 3/4" lath and plaster or 1/2" drywall screws.
Caution - Vent unit to the outside of the building.
Safety Warning: Turn off the proper circuit at the service entrance before wiring this unit.
| Ceiling Installation (See FIG. 1) |

Position the ventilator housing flush with the finish ceiling and nail housing hangers to joist. Run conduit to wall switch or speed control switch. Install 7" back draft damper, 7" round duct through roof and into roof jack.

| Wall Installation (See FIG. 2) |

Position ventilator housing flush with finish wall and nail housing hangers to studs. Locate the ventilator as close to the ceiling as possible (at least 5 feet above the floor). Run conduit to wall switch. Install wall cap on outside wall.

| Remodeling Installation (See FIG. 3) |
|
Cut a 10 1/2" diameter rough-in hole through ceiling. Nail hosing hangers to 2 pre-cut 2"x4"s. Secure 2"x4"s between studs or joists.

Note: Do not oil motor - equipped with lifetime lubricated bearings

Remove grille by unscrewing center thumb screw.

Holding the tube assembly in position, squeeze and remove two locking clips. Remove assembly and disconnect plug. To re-assemble, replace tube assembly in housing then squeeze locking clips and place over studs. Turn clips clockwise 1/2 turn.

Wipe tube assembly and housing with clean damp cloth.

Wash grille and wipe dry - do not use abrasive cleaners as these will permanently mar the finish.

Re-install unit reversing procedure explained above.
